The Daisy Geyser Trail follows the Firehole River, first through Yellowstone's wilderness, and then along the Upper Geyser Basin's boardwalk system. If you're staying in West Yellowstone we can pick you up there, or you can meet us at the Daisy Geyser Trail trailhead. The price is the same whichever you choose. The first part of the trail makes its way through a forest, with the Firehole River popping in and out of view. It then travels through wide open meadows, with steam emanating from thermal features off in the distance. We try and time the hike so that we arrive at the Daisy Group of Geysers just before the start of Daisy Geyser's eruption period. While we're waiting, or after the eruption, we'll walk the loop around the various geysers and pools, including Comet Geyser, Splendid Geyser and Brilliant Pool. The walk from Daisy to Old Faithful is on a paved path, which takes us past various other thermal features, including Castle Geyser. The trail is about 2.3 miles (3.7 kilometres) long.
